I used this image on the content page, this is a picture of the singer 'Megan'.

I used this image on the content page aswell.

I also used this image as a main picture on my content page, this is 'Fools on Parade'.

This image was used on my DPS as the main image.

These are the images that I had taken throughout:

I didnt go for these pictures as i prefered other pictures from these and some of the lighting on these are abit dodgy:

I didnt go for these pictures mainly because i was told these looked more like it was for a fashion magazine and not for a music magazine:

I didnt go for these pictures because there was hardly any eye contact and when he did the eyes would look a bit dodgy on the picture, so instead made him look at his guitar which i thought looked alright:

I did not go for these as although some of them are okay i thought some of the other pictures of these were a lot better:

Interview with 'fools on parade'

How did you first get started with Fools on Parade?
Well we had this band going and it really wasn’t really working out and we ended up having a huge falling out with one of the lads and Jack’s sister wanted us to play at her birthday party and we were like what are we going to do, so we rang Gemma’s boyfriend, jack and well started about with him the next week we were like practising together, and that’s how it all really started.
How long have you been a band for?
Say about 2 and a bit years.
What was your first gig like?
It was alright, it was exciting, quite a lot of people there we played loads of songs people liked and knew and that, exciting to sing our own stuff like.
Where you nervous?
Yes, but I wasn’t nervous going on stage, I was more nervous incase something broke.
What projects are you working on right now?
Well I’m doing more like an acoustic thing at the moment, with one of the boys from the band and we’ve done a few gigs in local pubs and that’s alright, as were doing our own stuff, which is exciting.
How did you all meet?
4 of us met in school and we all had music together and we were all interested in the same type music and that, but then obviously we knew john through jack and jack’s sister.
What guided you into making the band?
Just we were all interested in the same music and we all knew how to play the songs and the instruments and that, so it just came together quite naturally.
Where do you practice?
This place called ‘central park studios’ it’s like in Poulton kind of up at the top by the pub ‘the buffs’.
How often do you practice?
About 2 or 3 times a week depending on whether we have a gig on the weekend, or if we have spare time from school, jobs and stuff.
What is your favourite song to practice and why?
There is this one song called ‘December’ and we always like to play it cause its fast, the cords are nice to it and the melody is amazing.
What band would you compare yourselves too?
Well we do play a lot of arctic monkey songs and some other band called mil burn and when we try to write our own stuff its more in their style then anything else.
When you write your songs what comes first music or the lyrics?
Well for me the music because I don’t really write the lyrics because I can’t really play and sing at the same time, but I write the music and john or jack would write the lyrics for me.
When you do your solo gigging what s the difference from you playing with the band?
Well there’s usually the lot of us doing it so there’s less likely of things to go wrong but then like but don’t know not as confident as there is many of us doing it on the stage but then there’s the two of us just me and john but its still good.
What gigs do you have coming up?
Well we just did our last one for this year in december the other week, but in January we have been offered this headline, along side with ‘the ‘guardians’ who are a big local band around here and ‘the dukes’ who are a signed local band so were suppose to be doing stuff with them but sadly after a long talk we have decided to split, and go our seperate ways.
Are you really excited?
Yes, but it’s an acoustic one so I don’t know what were going to do and its going to be me and john’s first time alone.
What are your plans for you future?
Well personally, I want to go to this institute in Liverpool and if I join a band there, it is where the wombats formed, so it’s a good place to find musicians.
